Climate Change Crop Yields Will Lead To Starvation

With all-time record temperatures being set worldwide this year, and the trend likely to continue as the world warms under climate change, the question of how such temperatures will affect us all is an obvious one.
The current headlines coming out of Russia are similar to those generated by the 2003’s European heatwave - the deadliest on record - with death rates soaring through heat stress, especially the elderly. However, rising temperatures can have far more wide-reaching effects as well, with crop yields being the most obvious worldwide problem. Increasing temperatures can have a huge impact of agricultural output, leading to global food shortages, rising food prices and starvation.
