UK Budget Brings Green Rewards To Renewables, Power Companies, Energy Efficiency And Cars

Small-scale renewable energy systems, power companies, energy efficiency products and car firms were the main ‘green’ winners in the UK’s latest Budget in an effort to bolster spending on green initiatives during the economic downturn. Before today, the UK was languishing near the bottom of the world league table for the percentage of economic stimulus funds spent on green objectives and industries. Now the government is targeting the creation of thousands of new green companies, supporting hundreds of thousands of new green careers
